I'm back! I haven't been blogging for a long while 'cause my com died and i got a temporary com(the one i'm using now) and it's damn slow.
I dont even remember what my background looks like(that shows how long i haven't been visiting my blog).
Okay, so we begin with the BAPTIST YOUTH CAMP!!! Whoo!
It was on the 28 to 30 of November at Singapore Vision Farm. The living conditions were MUCH better than expected. Except that there was no 7-11 nearby and a lot of mosquitoes... And our theme this year was 'Reflective' so there was some reflection time and also some games time and we had alot of free time, spent playing charades and taboo.
The first day after checking in we had some ice breaker and played some games. The thing I remember most about the ice breaker was the toilet paper thing. John told us that there was no toilet paper so we had to take what we needed to use for the day from a roll which turned out that the number of pieces you take had to be the number of things you had to say about yourself.
Then we had dinner then our first session followed by the night walk a.k.a. mosquito feeding time. I have like more than 10 mosquito bites from the walk alone. The night walk wasn't very long but David made it seem like it was a far far way into the jungle.
Gosh I'm starting to feel lazy. I don't wanna type anymore.
On the second day we had worship and then sessions and went farm exploration ans then had a water bomb fight and then a barberqueue. You know what the coolest thing about the long house is? The wardrobe!!!!!! It'e exactly like how it happens in the 'Chronicles of Narnia', you just open the wardrobe door and then open the back and walk through it!!! It leads you to he second level of the long house.
And I don't know why no one dares to eat my cooking, I mean, I don't cook that bad, right? We played murderer and detective and polar bear and I tasted Josiah's concentrated Milo which gave me this sore throat. And when we finished it was extremely late, so I showered at 2am that night. And I kinda bet with Fred that I could stay up later than him... Big mistake though. We (Elaine, Carol, Fred, Josiah, Johann and I) stayed up to sing and play the guitar. We almost finished playing all the songs in the book at 4 so we decided to go for a walk around the farm and took a lot of pictures and we finished our walk at 7.
And the next day we all felt half awake throught the session... (I was stoning during a part of it.) When it was almost time to go home i felt kinda floaty like i was in a dream and almost couldn't recognise my way home.
And i'm putting braces in a few weeks, so i'll be extracting my teeth later. I'm kinda afraid cause i've never extracted my teeth before...
Um that's all for now... i need to find some pictures and then i'll post it up. :)
